Results Worth Reporting


Finally! I'm seeing some results when it comes to my weight loss. Since I started my food diary (about 3 weeks ago) I've lost 6 pounds. Yay!

So you know, I've basically been watching what I eat and working out. Nothing like old fashion hard work to lose weight! There have only been maybe 2 or 3 days were I didn't meet my 1200 calorie goal.

The hardest part of my new lifestyle, is learning what I can and can't eat (as far as calories go). There are so many thing I love to eat, that have an insane amount of calories. For example, the average snow cone has 550 calories! That's insane to me! I would rather have a soft serve ice cream cone from DQ for 140 calories. My favorite places to eat are Schlotzsky's, Jason's Deli and United (the salad bar). I can eat an entire meal at all of these places for 500 calories or less. Plus, I'm a vegetarian and they have lot's of options for me.

So my advice is to take a look at what you eat, because one high calories item could be holding you back.
